Did you know that less than 2% of the American population exercises regularly? How disgusting. And they wonder why obesity is an epidemic in this country....because we have to get rid of trans fats...because that's our biggest problem.....oh yeah....don't worry about saturated fat, cholesterol, artificial ingredients, sodium, genetically engineered foods, overeating.....now that trans fat is gone, we can eat as much as we want...right?
(In case some of you didn't catch that, it's called sarcasm. Now stop reading this, get off your ass, and go exercise!)
My life is very busy, so if any of you write me messages I promise to write back eventually. Patience is a virtue :)

I woke up this morning and could think of nothing more I wanted than it to be night again so I could go back to sleep.
My favorite color is green.
I love to write -- words and music
I play guitar, piano, and flute.
I am an artist at heart--love to draw, paint, decorate furniture, and basically anything that has to do with art at all, but especially graphic design, web design/development, and photography.
I also love to do anything outdoors....camping, hiking, biking, fishing, or just relaxing.
And anything to do with sports/being physical....kickboxing, gymnastics, volleyball, golf, football, softball, tennis, swimming, weightlifting, badminton, pingpong, ha ha....etc....
I am very interested in other cultures and love to travel. Our family has hosted 5 foreign exchange students, the most recent being from Turkmenistan. I would like to learn to speak and write French fluently before I die.
I enjoy simple pleasures in life. Ironies. Clean, fresh, laundry. Commonalities. Cold showers after a good workout.
I am Christian and my faith is very important to me. My friends and family mean the world to me and honesty is important. I try to live by the golden rule and treat others the way I want to be treated. Everyone deserves respect. I prefer having a few close friends that I tell everything to as opposed to a lot of other friends that I'm not so close with. A good conversation is hard to come by, so I challenge you :)
I am a student in Human Biology/Dietetics and in Graphic Design. I should be a registered dietitian in about a year. I'm so excited about that. This is one thing in my life that I am absolutely certain I know what I want and I am psyched to find where it leads me. Hopefully I can do some traveling with my line of work and help those in need. In my humble opinion, our lives should be used to help others; if not, then what else?
I wish I was still in Europe :)
